When war comes to a city, it takes away more than just homes.
It takes away a sense of security, the familiar rhythm of life, and confidence in tomorrow.
The humanitarian arm of the Light Charitable Foundation exists so that people are not left alone to deal with the consequences of war — neither during forced displacement nor in communities living near the front line.
What problem we are working on
Internally displaced persons and residents of frontline communities often find themselves without the bare necessities:
housing, basic necessities, access to stable assistance.
Even after the first wave of evacuation, the need for support does not disappear — on the contrary, it becomes long-term and exhausting.
We work with people for whom humanitarian aid is not a one-time support, but a vital necessity.
The Light Foundation carries out humanitarian missions and provides assistance to civilians, internally displaced persons, and communities affected by the conflict.
Assistance includes:
food;
hygiene products and basic necessities;
support for people in the process of adapting to new living conditions.
We work directly with communities, responding to real needs and situations on the ground.
Within the humanitarian sphere, the foundation provided assistance in the following regions:
Kharkiv;
Donetsk;
Zaporizhia;
Dnipropetrovsk.
Our trips are aimed at supporting both internally displaced persons and people who remain in frontline communities.
internally displaced persons;
civilians in frontline regions;
families who have lost their homes or source of income;
people in crisis situations due to the war.
